To Whom It May Concern:

In 2024 British Columbia Golf will be running our Women’s Golf Cloud Series for the second year and wanted to make you and your Zone aware of it. The Women’s Golf Cloud Series is a series of 6 events, one per month April – September, where ladies will be playing a different team format each time. Each month teams will have the last 20 days of the month to play and post their score. We will have the tournaments set up in Golf Genius and players can play at any course across BC or the Yukon.

Prizes will be awarded after each event. The top 3 teams both net and gross will receive credit to their home pro shop. We have also partnered with a couple of BC-based businesses to provide draw prizes for participation during each event. These companies are Better At Golf and Pocket Brush. Both of which provide a product to help golfers play their best!

How The Zone can Support The Series:

In 2023 we averaged 381 players per event and we are looking to increase that number to well over 400 in 2024. You can support us by circulating this information among the Women’s committee at the Zone. You can also support us by sharing this information with other ladies at your individual clubs. To help with sharing this information we have included an event schedule along with this letter.

Cloud Series rounds being played in your Zone does not require any additional programming / funding / or time from the Zone. Players just book their own tee times as they would for any other round. BC Golf will have already provided them with their Golf Genius Mobile Scoring link.
